This Wiki will describe the MASSIBO system (MASsive SIpm characterization BOards), which is responsible for taking waveform data for later analysis and obtaining the DCR, XTP, and APP of each SiPM.
The cards to be analyzed are designed to contain 6 SiPMs in common cathode format, and each anode independently.
Each SiPM has an area of 6x6 m2
The amplification card is based on a transimpedance amplification scheme with a differential stage at the output, This card is prepared for 3 SiPM boards, which means that we have the possibility of amplifying 18 SiPMs.
It is the channel selector for every one of the 18 SiPMs from the Amplification Card. It is driven by an Arduino and is based on a solid-state relay.
It is the digitizer for the SiPM amplified signal. Based on a micro-controller and FPGA, it has 40 input channels with a sampling rate of 62.5 MSPS and 14 bits of resolution. The Version for MASSIBO is V1.
